A guy keeps saying questionable things during sex

My new boyfriend/situationship is very obsessive over me, like not in a toxic way, but perhaps a questionable way. He is very into me in all kinds of ways, and can barely keep his hands off me because everything I do and say gives him a boner, lol. Outside of sex he is very very kind and gentle and caring. His most common way of fucking me is while we spoon on the bed and he is behind me, and he will do it for a long while very roughly, and I've noticed that one of the most common things he keeps repeating is "I fucking hate you, i fucking hate you, i fucking hate you". I asked him about it and he said that he "hates me" because of how obsessively into me he is, that he doesn't mean it and it just comes out like a frustration during sex. Another thing that he says during sex, is asking me questions during sex that he knows I will answer "no" to. He keeps repeating them over and over. It seems like he wants to keep hearing me say no during it. I am into cnc but it feels a bit strange that he can get hard purely from hearing me be reluctant about anything. I am into cnc, but we haven't discussed anything like that. I also wonder if the "hate you" comments are related to a kink called hate-fucking? which i found out about after googling.
