I hate being forced into racism

I'm a white teacher in a predominatly black elementary school, and while I love everyone of my students, I take more and more issue with the culture that they're raised in. The level of disrespect that they have for adults and for each other is insane. The attitude that the kids are taught is so counterproductive to their lives. Their propensity to fight, even as kindergartners and 1st graders is insane. In almost every interaction they have with each other, they are looking to fight.
