I feel uneasy around transgender women
(I HATE that I have this opinion and really wish that I didnt.)
Every time I see a transgender women or men crossdressing it really puts me off (hate to say it but I would go as far as feeling disgusted).
My brain somehow finds it unnatural and as an act of public expression of sexual orientation/desires and/or attention seeking rather than an actual confusion regarding identity. I could compare it to someone in full blown BDSM gear/furry gear going around town and expecting to be treated like everyone else.
I have a theory myself: some, not all, transgender people tend to be overly feminine; big hair, heels, long red nails, lipstick, etc. None of these attributes are "naturally" feminine - they are completely invented by our society. Which to me means that the people who want to use these attributes have "bought" into a conventional form of woman and are in fact sexually turned on by our concept of a woman - not by actually being biologically woman. Therefore they are shaped by the outside (our invented society) and not from within themselfs.
I think it is ALWAYS very visible that they ”have been” a man (hands, cheekbones, shoulders, feet).
I feel nothing towards women who choose to live as men, its soley regarding men/transgender women. (Imo they are less ”in your face” aswell.)
Of course I keep my mouth shut about this opinion and would never say anything hateful or act on my thoughts.
If anyone has any tips on how to actually ”get over” this id be glad to hear them!
