I went on a date with a famous guy in 2009 and he ghosted me

It's a freaking long story. This was back in 2009, famous teenage movie. Very long story short: I considered myself the ugly duckling, met his manager in a weird way and she asked me and my friend to go bowling. We did and he was there (I didn't know he would). We ended up kissing that night and he asked me out two days after (yes, he even gave me his REAL number, he freaked out afterwards but his manager calmed him down). After that date I saw him again from a distance and had left town, he texted me and asked if I was still in that city and I said I wasn't - he texted "ah shit" and we agreed to meet in a different city that we were both going to be. He totally ghosted me after saying "awesome! Will meet you there". Sigh I was still friends with his (now) ex-manager till a few years ago but since I live overseas and she's busy we lost contact. I don't hold a grudge, I have stage 4 cancer (and it's spreading) but I just wanted to share since I'm pretty much dying. It's pretty cool imo, being 19 and having this out of the blue experience, totally could be another teenage book story. AMA
