I had an affair with my boss when I was younger and his widow called me to ask me about it recently.

A few years back I worked in a restaurant. A lot of late nights or morning shifts i was alone with my older/ married boss. It didn’t take long to go from quietly working together to flirting to hooking up. It was off and on while I worked there. When I moved on to other jobs we still hooked up but it was not as often and now it had been a few years. Like 2 weeks ago I got a call from his wife. She explained that he had passed away about a month before. She was looking through some of his stuff and saw a picture of me in his stuff. She told me she had suspected he and I had an affair. I lied and told her I suspected he had a crush on me but that he never tried anything. She told me he had died masturbating in a closet and had accidentally choked himself to death.
