A lady was found dead and I feel like my prank call was the cause...

So i actually just commented this in a different post but figured I'd finally post it for all to see.. I have a real life horror story.. im 31M. When me and some friends were around 15, 16, we was all smoking weed prank calling ppl. Well I dialed a random number, and a woman answered and she whispered "hello..... who is this? I need help. Hes guna kill me".. This lady didnt know it was a prank call, I dialed her number for the first time ever and as soon as she answered she said this.. Me and all my friends froze and looked at eachother in genuine fear. I started asking questions, like where is she, she didnt know. I asked her name. She gave a name that the guy gave her. Said she didnt remember her real name bcuz this man took her when she was a real little kid, and now she's an adult. But she did say she knows she has a sister name Maria. (Which is common in kidnappings, if you're taken at a young age you'll basically be brainwashed to forget your birth given name). My heart fuckin sunk dude. Then she said she's being punished for constantly trying to escape and begged me not to hang up. I told one of my other friends to call the cops now. I asked her why she didnt just call the cops and she said she didnt know how, this woman literally didnt know what 911 was. She just knew you could talk on a phone... While on the phone with dispatch and police on route to us to figure shit out. We heard a man's voice... He screamed at her "you stupid ungrateful bitch you have my phone?!?!" And the last thing I heard was her screaming bloody murder and what sounded like her being beaten... And she screamed "the house is white with a green door!!!" Then bam. Sounded like she got hit with metal or something and the guy grabbed the phone im guessing and said haha fooled you... as if he was trying to make us think we got prank called...? Even though im the one who called and didnt say anything because she started talking so they had no idea a prank call was involved. Well almost a week went by and the police talked me and my friends, my parents, friends parents. At the end of the week my mom told me they found the lady.. in Wisconsin, dead and discarded in some nearby woods, and later they found the guy. He kidnapped her when she was 5 years old. Police and detectives never had many leads, except, they did suspect the guy I heard on the phone. But he was so smooth I guess they could never find anything on him. And I honestly blame my self. I called her and kept talking to her and he heard her and then killed her. BTW, she died from blunt force trauma to the head, which I believe is what i heard when it sounded like metal hitting her. Bcuz when i heard that sound, she stopped screaming.. And I've always told my self if I would of just hung up, even though she begged me not to. And gave the cops her number, they could have found her. She could be alive living a life of healing and reconnecting with her family. I literally have tears running down my face as I type this. After that day I never ever pulled any kind of pranks or jokes on anyone again bcuz im scared to. Scared I'll do something to get them killed...
