Welp...Made It 10 Years
My husband and I have been together for 10 years now, married 9. The night before last, while dozing in bed, I farted. It was noisy but thankfully not smelly. But still...I've been with this man 10 years and that was the first time he's ever heard me fart. I'm so disappointed! I really enjoyed his child-like wonder at the fact his wife "never" farts. As far as he was concerned, anyway...I'm still human and it does happen occasionally, just not a whole lot.
Of course it would be one of the extremely rare nights when he was awake later than I was! It actually woke me up, and I immediately looked over to see if he was awake...he definitely was. He was under the sheet (to not bother me with the light of his screen) playing around on his phone, and I felt him tense up and go still, then snicker a little bit to himself. He didn't know I was awake. I was fighting for my life to not crack the fuck up because I was worried laughing might squeeze another out, LMAO. I never did let him know I was awake, so he very excitedly started to bring it up the next day when I got home.
He came up behind me and was like, "So a weird thing happened last night..." and I cut him off and told him I was awake and fighting back a laugh attack.
LMFAO so there's my confession, y'all. My husband heard me fart for the first time , 10 years into our relationship. I'm not totally distraught...but still bummed out.
