I'm a very ambitious person and sometimes I cut corners to get what I want. I bootstrapped a startup 6 months ago and worked with a small team to make end meet. The business was burning more money every month than what we were making so we had to raise capital. I reached out to many investors but no one even gave us a appointment, eventually I met a venture capitalists in a business event and I went us to him and gave an elevator pitch, he doesn't invest in small businesses but I had to take a shot. I noticed him checking me out lustfully throughout the time I was talking to him and I'm pretty sure he didn't even listen to my proposal. He asked me to meet in his office the next day to talk more, I went to his office with my team and the meet went well. When we were about to leave he asked made me stay back to talk to me in private and asked me if I was free that night to come to his farmhouse so we can "relax" and talk more about how we can grow the business.
