I can hear my neighbor leaving her apartment, ripping loud farts in the hall, then going back in.

I posted this in response to a “what’s something you wanna get off your chest?” post, but I wanted to post it here. This whole situation gives me a laugh every single time. I can hear my neighbor leave her apartment, then rip some gnarly farts in the hallway, and then go back in. I work from home 2x a week and my desk is next to my front door. One time she did it 3 times in an hour. I know she lives with a boyfriend, I see them in passing sometimes and I have to put I a lot of effort to keep a straight face. They are both very fit and from all the Whole Foods bags I’ve seen them carrying, I assume their diets consist of vegetables that make you fart. Sometimes I’ll wait 30 seconds, leave my apartment, and check my mail just to hopefully make her embarrassed, not to feel shame, but just a funny “oops haha”. I will say, they reek. They are strong and putrid. The hallways are small too. My girlfriend one time was home and heard it too. We both died laughing. We both went out after 10 minutes and it still smelled terrible.
