Aproplex

I'm mad at my wife after she said that she was attracted to my friend.

My wife asked me to stop inviting a friend of mine into our home and social events. Initially, when I asked her why she told me that he made her a bit uncomfortable. I respected her wishes and stopped inviting him to our home and events with my wife around. But she never seemed uncomfortable around him before. I became worried and my mind went all over the place. I didn't know if maybe he made a move on her or maybe threathened her. After some time, we talked about the subject again, but this time she was more upfront. She told me that she felt a strong sexual attraction towards him and she was afraid of doing something stupid. While I appreciate her honest and her self awareness of the situation, I feel pretty upset at the thought that my wife had thoughts about cheating on me. Am I not enough for her? Two kids weren't enough to guarantee that she would be loyal, no matter what? Despite her self control in light of the situation, I feel a little betrayed, because I have not thought about a single woman ever since we've gotten together. I don't know what to do. The resentment has begun to affect our relationship. It wasn't noticable at first, but a few days ago my wife has commented that I've been a bit distant and she even asked if I still attracted to her. But I'm not trying to initiate anything with her like I used to. In some weeks, I don't look for her at all in order to have intimate contact. I could see a little hurt in her eyes, because physical intimacy always felt reassuring for her. I lied to my wife and assured her that nothing is wrong, but I've been perceiving her in a pretty negative light ever since her confession. I need some outside perspective on the whole situation. I don't want to be paranoid or think that I'll always have to look after her shoulder in order to ensure she won't cheat in the foreseeble future and I don't want to demonstrate insecurity around her. I love her and I don't want a divorce. But I feel lost. PS: Pardon me for possible gramatical errors. English is not my first language.
