I pretend to be a boomer on NextDoor occasionally to wake up other boomers to how fucked this presidency is

Just the title. I like to appropriate the speaking manner and style or boomers (weird spacing, excess capitalization, strange spacing) to, hopefully, draw attention to how they’re being fucked sideways by the administration. I ran for office in my late 20s in a red county and found out, pretty directly, what these people value. Sadly, they hated me for being young and progressive. Now I just spew shit in their dialect (mainly about how this isn’t my party and things are shitty now) and, strangely, I’m seeing less MAGA flags around. I do not feel bad about this at all. I am not lying. I’m just pretending to be old and hateful.
